What This Area Does
FAMA's Senior Services is a neighborhood-based approach to caring for older residents. We don't simply deliver a service and leave — we build relationships that help seniors stay connected, safe, and supported in the place they call home.
That includes checking on vulnerable neighbors before a storm, helping with property and yard needs, connecting seniors with wellness resources, and creating gathering points where older neighbors are seen, known, and valued. Where Community Resilience becomes a launched initiative, senior check-ins are a core part of how FAMA prepares and responds.
